Turning regular old benches into amazing works of art. This project brought a sense of community pride for years following. The benches are lining Nepessing Street.

A little free Library found in the alley of Downtown Lapeer, find a good book and a comfy place to sit next time you're hanging out downtown. 

Seen to the left and to the right are Hometown Hero Banners. Each year Downtown Lapeer receives applications from veterans and their families from Lapeer County. Those who apply have a banner made in honor of the veteran and they are then hung along lamp posts that line Downtown Lapeer.
These men and women deserve recognition, and this is our way of giving it to them.  
There are around 70 spots for banners lining the streets of Downtown.
