Why did you decide to open your business in Downtown Lapeer?
I decided to open my business in Downtown Lapeer due to the proximity to I-69, which makes it easier for people to get to. Also, people within a 60 miles radius are usually familiar with downtown Lapeer, which makes it easy to find my location.
When did you open?
I opened my business July 2012 and located my office in downtown October 2012.
What makes your business unique?
I’m a certified Consulting Hypnotist and a certified Life Coach. Trinity offers holistic, non-medical solutions to help everyday people with everyday problems: stress reductions, anxiousness, behavior modification (such as stopping smoking, weight loss, or other habits, resulting in created healthier habits). I offer professional hypnosis, professional life coaching, work/life balance coaching, Reiki sessions, and certification training and meditation training.
What would you like to see in the Downtown of the future?
Good question! I’ve watched downtown change significantly over the years, yet we’ve always been able to keep that “quaint, small town” feeling. I hope more retail shops come downtown, so folks can park their cars and explore the unique downtown hops as well as grab a bite to eat.
What do you like most about being Downtown?
The diversity of the businesses! There are businesses focused on Health and Wellness such as massage, dentistry, optometry, professional therapists, yoga, and even hypnosis! Restaurants offering a multitude of specialties and several unique boutique type stores as well.
