Reap the benefits of locally grown. When the produce is locally grown and hasn’t had to travel hundreds of miles before it gets to the customers plates, it retains all its nutritious benefits.
Locally grown foods are usually picked within 24 hours of sale-often the morning of market. The Lapeer Farmers’ Market not only offers the best available fruits and vegetables to our community, but we are able to offer locally raised beef, lamb, chicken and buffalo meat. (Read more....)
